Early in 2020 after our visit to Düsseldorf we made plans to attend the multihull boat show in the south of France (Le Grande Motte, near Montpelier). But soon after in:
2020: covid struck and the show was cancelled and our flights were cancelled.
2021: covid refuses to subside and re-emerges over winter and the show was cancelled again
2022: covid is finally under control but five days before we travel Brendan snaps his Achilles, but... just two days before we were due to travel we got the go ahead to travel from the doctor and arrived at the airport on crutches.
Within a few hours we landed in Montpelier and arrived at Le Petit Patio, our home for the next three nights.
As dawn approached we very excitedly got ready for our French breakfast and took a taxi to the Grande Motte.
We hobbled around the boat show exploring the wide variety of catamarans, many way outside our budget, but nonetheless really interesting to see the differences and learn as much as possible.
